Sealed bids, plainly marked “BID FOR Enterprise Street, CRP 10-001”, will be received by the
Port of Ephrata located at 1990 Division Ave E, Ephrata, WA, 98823, until 11:00 A.M., Tuesday,
April 13, 2010 and will then and there be opened and publicly read for the construction of the
improvements.
All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check,
cashier’s check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such
bid proposal. No conditional bid bond will be accepted. Should the successful bidder fail to
enter into such contract and furnish a satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in
the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to Port of Ephrata.

Informational copies of the maps, plans and specifications are on file for inspection at the Grant
County Port District #9, 1990 Division Ave. E., Ephrata, WA 98823 and the Grant County Public
Works Building, 124 Enterprise St. S.E., Ephrata, WA 98823.
The Board of Port Commissioners of the Grant County Port District #9, Washington, reserves
the right to reject any and all bids. The award of this contract, if made, will be to the lowest
responsible bidder.
The improvement for which bids will be received follows:

Enterprise Street – CRP 10-001
This contract provides for the construction of 0.46 miles of two lane port road in Grant County,
WA, and includes roadway excavation, embankment compaction, crushed surfacing base
course and top Course, hot mix asphalt, paint lines, permanent signing, project temporary
traffic control and other work all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these
Contract Provisions and the Standard Specifications.
